The World of Beatrix Potter

Here’s a lady that would sit with a proper cup of tea and a slice of ginger cake.

After going through our holiday photos, I came across the day we had at  The World Of Beatrix Potter in Bowness-on-Windermere. We fell in love with the life like models, especially Tabitha Twitchit drinking tea. The garden and greenhouse was especially beautiful and this is well worth the visit, small but great use of colour and old fashioned tools on display.

It was when we where in the garden, that we saw a black board advertising the Beatrix Potter Facebook page. The style of the board fitted well into the garden and was memorable for when home.

Anyway, I’d better be off now, I’ve got the ironing to do.
