Whatever your occasion, we can help you with your plans to create a day to remember. Serendipity Street can supply an intimate tea party to a lavish wedding tea.

We have all you need for a traditional tea, lashings of ginger beer and fresh mint, scrumptious sandwiches, delicious cakes and cream teas served on pretty vintage china and silverware.

We can also provide vintage accessories and props to style your event.

Cakes & Biscuits

All cakes and biscuits are made using fresh ingredients including butter and free-range eggs. Our delicious tea time range includes 2 to 3 of the following

  • Tangy lemon drizzle loaf
  • Sticky Edwardian gingerbread
  • Coffee sponge sandwiched with a mocha butter cream
  • Our classic Victoria sponge sandwiched with raspberry jam and butter cream
  • Moist chocolate mini cakes with a chocolate butter cream topping
  • Earl Grey tea loaf
  • Rich shortbread fingers
  • Cherry flapjacks
  • Ginger snaps

The cakes and biscuits are made to order so if you have a favourite that isn’t on our list, please do ask and we’d love to include this for you.

We can source any finishing touches for your day, from table planners and place cards to personalised bunting and gifts.

We are based in the heart of Suffolk and can deliver throughout Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Cambridge and London.

Tea Party Catering

£15 per guest

High Tea Catering

Sandwich slices x 5 fillings. Fruit or plain Scones, strawberry preserve, clotted cream, Earl Grey or breakfast tea and elderflower fizz with lemons or ginger beer with fresh mint and full vintage china hire.

£18 per guest

A Grand Affair Catering

Sandwich slices x 5 fillings, strawberries, buttercream cakes, plain and fruit scones, strawberry preserve, clotted cream, Earl Grey or breakfast tea & elderflower fizz with lemons or ginger beer with fresh mint and full vintage china hire.

£20 per guest

To add pastries please allow £3 per guest

A selection to include pork pies, game pies, prawn vol-au-vents, sun-dried tomato and pesto palmers, wild mushroom garlic and thyme vol-au-vent.

Less Naugh-Tea Catering

Any of our Afternoon Tea menus come with the following alternatives should you wish:

  • Fruit salad platter to replace a choice of cake including strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, orange and kiwi
  • Low-fat spreads used in sandwiches as well as reduced-fat mayonnaise; cream cheese and cheddar
  • Skimmed or alternative milk such as almond orsoy to accompany tea and coffee
  • Reduced sugar jams and drinks with Truvia alternative to sugar for tea and coffee
  • Replace one of your sandwich options with a large mixed green salad or tomato and basil salad for your guests to enjoy

We also have a children’s tea party menu from £9 per serving including vintage china hire.
