1970’s Games and Camping

Just came back from a camping trip and the vintage life didn’t stop there. We drank with mugs from the Queens Silver Jubilee and played Snap, Scrabble and Monopoly.

It’s makes real sense with a young family to camp and lately more families are opting for this basic holiday. No you don’t get a fantastic nights sleep and if the rain comes it’s a trip to the pub. But to go back to basics for a few days and have a barbeque in our beautiful British countryside or by a lovely beach is a real treat.

Next time we’ll be camping in August at The Jolly Sailor in Orford, Suffolk. We’ll have our crab lines and picnics packed for the day and come back to a fire and candlelight 1970’s game.
